This is a collection of mostly plein air paintings created on location rather than in my studio.  These works become my notes on light, shadow and color that are invaluable when creating a larger studio piece.  There is so much information available when working from life out in the field.  These small sketches are often less finished and fresher in feeling than studio paintings and may contain a few bugs and bits of grass and sand.
